Places to Go & What to Do: Nashville, TN

I just graduated college and turned 22—you could say I’m overwhelmed but let’s just roll with it. I turned 21 during the height of quarantine last year and never got the experience of shutting down a bar on my bday. SO this year I decided to throw myself my own 21+1 birthday party! I invited some of my best friends to come to Nashville for a few days of good, clean, fun and a big ol’ bday celebration.

In this post I’m showing off some of my favorites restaurants, bars and activities we did during our stay.

Hit Up

The Hampton Social

If you’ve researched cool places to go in Nashville I’m sure you've come across this spot. I was most excited to go here not only for the cute atmosphere and fire food BUT they have froze. Say less. You 100% have to make a reservation to eat here because it’s so packed so hop on it if this looks like your vibe. I got the chicken sandwich with fries babyyyy.

Nashville Bar Bike

You ride through downtown on a mobile bar bike you’re KIDDING. I’ve always wanted to do this and I was really surprised at how affordable it was to book! My whole group reserved a spot for $35 and the tour itself lasts around 1hr 30min. Our driver was named Kyle and we had a group on for a 21st party also—all around such a fun experience. It’s BYOB but you do stop at one bar and one liquor store during your ride.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken

I’m a sucker for some spicy chicken and I’ve literally day dreamed about trying Nashville hot chicken. I got the hot tenders with a side of fries and potato salad—BOMB. Recommend the potato salad if you’re into that because honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.

Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge

This place was so much fun and the food was great too. I ended up getting the mac + cheese which was delicious and the perfect way to start a night out. They had live music with the band Erath Old and even a rooftop sushi bar. I would recommend getting here first because the wait time was an hour to sit down!

Florida Georgia Line House

A FGL bar, does it get any better? This bar was one of the top ones on my list to hit. They have a rooftop cruise bar and some really cute picture spots! Don’t worry I’ve got you on the Instagram posts. It‘s pretty much a standing bar with music and a stage so if you’re one for dancing this is the perfect place for you.

Spin Scooters

This was something we stumbled upon but theres motorized scooters all around Nashville you can ride. It was actually a lot of fun and we ended up going from lunch to the Country Music Hall of Fame on them. Basically you just download an app, scan your scooter and ride around!

I'll be posting my Nashville Look-Book soon with everything I wore on my trip! Make sure to follow me on Instagram (madisnsch) for all the updates on new blog posts, my summer 2021 & even more :)
